The EarEase was invented by a Medical Doctor who enjoyed flying his own private plane. He would frequently experience intense ear pain after landing, which would continue for days. The pain was so severe he vowed to find a way to fix his problem. As a solution he developed The Original EarEase in 1988.

In 2010 Flora Manufacturing Inc. purchased the business and started to spread the distribution of The Original EarEase to a more wide spread market. Since then, Flora Manufacturing has produced and sold more than 80,000 EarEase worldwide helping customers suffering from ear pain and continues to reach people suffering from ear pain all over the globe.

The EarEase is a hot water container that has been engineered to transfer heat to the area around the ear in order to relieve ear pain. The BPA free plastic base has hollow walls to deliver maximum effectiveness of heat transfer. It also has a depth pin to show when it has reached water capacity. With less than two fluid ounces needed to fill one EarEase, it doesn’t take long to heat the water needed or to carry enough with you in a thermos for a few warm ups. The soft plastic cap, also BPA free, has a tight seal that “snaps” when you close it and enough rigidity to work every time.

The Original EarEase was designed to help equalize the pressure in the ear while flying but has been used in many more ways since. Not only for those who fly, but also those suffering from ear pain caused by a head cold or allergies and as well as for younger children who are more prone to ear issues. The Original EarEase has also been used by school nurses all over the U.S. for over two decades and we even had a customer tell us they freeze and EarEase to use as an ice pack to achieve direct precision.
